They are also intended as comfortable ear pads for Bose qc on flights, subject to confirming the correct model and cup latch. This listing is named for Bose QC Ultra. If you are comparing an SKU 178991 Ultra black option with a qc-named Ultra pad, use the listing photos and latch as the check before installation.

For model selection, compare the alternate Ultra black listing and the Ultra black vs 179792 sibling carefully. Both are black leather-look pads named for Bose QC / QuietComfort Ultra, but they are separate SKUs. Confirm Ultra vs 179792 photos before choosing. This is not QC45 black 179786; QC45 black pads are SKU 179786.

When installation is needed, unclip the worn Ultra cushions and seat this pair on the same mounts. Confirm the latch. The typical Ultra clip 178991 and the matching 178991 pair are useful references when checking the fit before completing the replacement. For a travel Ultra 178991 setup or a flagship black 178991 listing, confirm the model photos rather than relying on color alone.

What is included

The shipment is a matching black leather-look pair of Bose qc replacement ear pads. No additional accessories are listed. The product uses protein leather and has a smooth leather look with an easy-clean surface.

Before you install

Start by confirming that your headset is the Bose QC / QuietComfort Ultra name used for this product. Compare the listing photos and the cup latch with your headset. If your headset is QC45, the black pads are identified as SKU 179786. If you are comparing SKU 178991 with Ultra black SKU 179792, remember that they are separate SKUs even though both are black leather-look pads named for Bose QC / QuietComfort Ultra.

To install, unclip the worn Ultra cushions and seat this pair on the same mounts. Confirm the latch after seating the pad. This approach keeps the replacement focused on the existing mounts and gives you a matching black leather-look pair for the headset.

The product is identified as aftermarket black pads named for Bose QC Ultra, not OEM Ultra pads. That naming makes model confirmation important: compare the cup latch and listing photos before choosing between the separate Ultra SKUs or checking against QC45 black SKU 179786.
