AKG Y40 Y44BT Replacement Ear Pads — Black Leather

About this pair

akg y40 y44bt replacement ear pads are made for refreshing worn cushions on the AKG Y40 and Y44BT. These black leather replacement ear pads provide a smooth leather look, an easy-clean surface, and a matching pair for both on-ear cups.

When the original cushions are worn, replacing the ear pads can restore the surface you handle every time you use the headphones. This AKG replacement set keeps the job focused: remove the worn cushion, stretch the new black leather-look pad onto the cup, and repeat for the second side.

Features

• Refresh worn headphone cups: Protein leather forms the replacement ear pads for AKG Y40 and Y44BT, giving your headphones a black leather-look surface instead of the worn original cushion.
• Keep maintenance simple: The smooth leather-look face has an easy-clean surface, so a damp cloth is enough for wiping the black leather-look face.
• Complete both sides in one replacement: The AKG Y40 Y44BT ear pads kit ships as a matching pair, providing one pad for each on-ear cup.
• Make a practical DIY refresh: The replacement pair stretches onto each cup after the worn cushion is peeled away, supporting a typical DIY installation.
• Choose the correct model pairing: These black leather ear pads for akg y40 y44bt name both compatible models, while Y50 and Y500 sizes should not be assumed.
• Keep the color choice clear: The set is black leather-look for Y40 and Y44BT, distinct from the brown Y40/Y45BT SKU 179827 with its different color and BT sibling code.

Use cases

Choose these pads when worn headphone cushions are affecting the condition of your AKG Y40 or Y44BT. They are suited to a replacement-focused setup where the goal is to refresh the on-ear contact surface without replacing the headphones.

• For AKG Y40 listening: Use the Y40 on-ear leather-look set when the original cushion has become worn and you want portable AKG black pads in a smooth black finish.
• For AKG Y44BT use: These Y44BT Bluetooth pads provide a black leather-look replacement for the named Y44BT model. Keep moisture off the Bluetooth housing while wiping the pad face.
• For a monitoring setup: Use these as akg y40 y44bt monitoring ear pads spare when the existing on-ear cushions need replacement.
• For a studio headphone setup: The studio headphone ear pads for akg y40 y44bt are intended for the named AKG models and their on-ear cups.
• For hygiene maintenance: The wipe-clean Y44 skin wording reflects the easy-clean black leather-look face; use a damp cloth and keep moisture away from the Bluetooth housing on Y44BT.
• For a stretched rim installation: The Y40 stretch-on rim installation approach is simple: peel the worn cushion and stretch the new pair onto each cup.

Before ordering, confirm the model printed or identified on your headphones. Both AKG Y40 and Y44BT are named for this product, but the FAQ specifically advises not to assume Y50 or Y500 sizes. The brown Y40/Y45BT option is also a different SKU, so this listing is the black leather-look choice for Y40/Y44BT.
