AKG N700NC M2 Replacement Ear Pads — Black Leather

About this pair

AKG N700NC M2 replacement ear pads (N700NC M2 earpads). Black Leather ships as a matching pair. They ship as a matching pair so both cups can receive the same replacement at once.

Designed for a practical over-ear cushion swap, this pair is suited to buyers who want to replace worn leather-look pads without adding ANC hardware or changing the headphones themselves. Use cases

Choose this pair when your N700NC over-ear ANC pads have become worn and you want a travel-ANC cushion swap before a trip. The black N700NC M2 leather-look finish suits a flight AKG pad refresh, while the wipe-clean long-haul skin makes routine surface cleaning straightforward.

They are also a practical option for an N700NC stretch-on rim replacement. Follow the typical DIY method from the existing cups: remove the worn leather-look cushion, place the replacement around the same rim, and confirm the lip. Check M2 cup compatibility and the larger over-ear cup before ordering; the FAQ distinguishes it from compact N60NC pads and notes the N700 versus N60NC size difference.

If the original cushions have collapsed ANC foam, replacing the pads can refresh the cushion itself, but the pads do not contain ANC hardware and do not add features. A healthier seal can feel more comfortable, including during flights, without changing the headphone electronics.

What is in the box

The shipment is the AKG N700NC M2 Replacement Ear Pads — Black Leather, supplied as a matching pair of black leather-look over-ear pads.

A straightforward replacement for worn pads

Use these black leather-look ear pads when the original cushions are ready to be changed. The smooth surface gives the replacement a clean leather appearance, and the pair format keeps the left and right cups matched. For care, wipe the smooth face with a damp cloth, dry the foam, and avoid soaking the cups.

Before installation, confirm that your headphones use the larger over-ear cup associated with N700NC and N700NC M2 rather than compact N60NC pads. During installation, stretch the cushion off each cup and seat the new pair on the same rim. Confirming the lip helps keep the replacement process aligned with the existing cup.

These ear pads are intended to refresh the cushion contact points, not to add ANC hardware or other headphone features. If your goal is a simple replacement for worn pads, the matching black pair provides a clear, easy-clean option for travel, monitoring, and everyday over-ear use.
