Use Cases

Choose these ear pads when worn cushions are affecting the appearance of an ATH-SR9, DSR9BT, or DSR7BT headphone. They suit a cracked DSR9BT refresh, an on-ear charcoal spare requirement, or a wireless digital SR9 gray replacement need. The dark gray SR9 leatherette look and charcoal DSR9BT cushions make the finish easy to distinguish from the black sibling option.

They are also a practical choice for a studio headphone refresh, monitoring use, or a DSR7BT gray pad pair replacement. If you are comparing gray vs black SR9 sibling finishes, this SKU is dark gray leather-look; black is the separate black option. The DSR-series gray leatherette appearance is the defining finish of this replacement pair.

For installation, support the wireless cup, remove the worn rim the same way it attaches, then seat the dark gray pair evenly. Confirm the cup matches the worn pads before beginning. Do not assume that ATH-SR5 or SR50 cups match the SR9 family, because those lines have their own pad SKUs.
