FAQ

Find answers about compatibility, ordering, shipping, returns, and replacement ear pads.

Where do you ship?

We ship to all 50 US states, including Alaska and Hawaii. Orders leave from 7 warehouses across the United States. For Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories, if the route or the rate is different, we tell you when we confirm the order.

Shipping

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is free on orders of $79 or more. Below that, shipping starts at $29 and depends on the carrier.

Shipping

How long does delivery take?

Orders typically arrive within 3–7 business days. There is no separate expedited option. Shipping already goes by the fastest method we use.

Shipping

How can I track my order?

We email a tracking number when we confirm that payment was received.

Contact

How can I pay?

Pay by card, with cash on NYC pickup, or with Afterpay when it is offered at checkout confirmation.

What warranty do the pads have?

Every listing has a 12-month fit warranty against premature peeling or collapsed foam.

Can I return a pad?

Unused pads may be returned within 30 days under your state’s consumer rules.

Full return policy

What should I do if I receive the wrong or damaged item?

Email us as soon as you open the parcel. Include the email from your request and a photo of the item and the packaging. We will sort a wrong model or shipping damage as quickly as we can. This is separate from returning an unused set.

What if the pads do not fit?

Fit notes are on the listing before you order. An unused set can be returned within 30 days under your state’s consumer rules.

Full return policy

Is the price on the listing the amount I approve?

The price on the listing is in USD. After you send the cart, we confirm stock, shipping, and the total by email within 1–3 business days. Any state tax is calculated for your shipping address.

How do I find the right replacement ear pads for my exact headphone model?

The model number is on the headband, the hinge, or inside the ear cup. Open that brand in the catalog and choose the listing that names your model and revision. Read the fit notes before you order. A nearby model can use a different mount.

Will new pads make noise cancelling stronger?

A new set can restore the seal that worn pads have lost. Material, shape, and how well the cushion seals can change the sound and how active noise cancelling works. The result depends on the headphone model and how the cups are built. A new set does not repair a damaged driver, microphone, or headband, and it is not a promise of better sound or stronger noise cancelling.

Are protein leather, velour, and memory foam the same cushion?

No. The outline is cut for the cup, and the material is a separate choice. Protein leather wipes clean, velour is the softer studio surface, and memory foam is the slow-recovery fill or ear tip. The listing names which one you are buying.

Does the cart charge my card?

No. The cart sends a request. We confirm stock, shipping, and the total by email within 1–3 business days. Card payment, NYC cash pickup, or Afterpay happens after that confirmation, not in the form.

Why buy replacement pads here?

One listing is one pair for both cups, for one headphone family, not a single pad. The material, fit notes, shipping, and 12-month warranty are on the page before you order.

How is the catalog organized?

Shop by brand. The front page shows the first brands, and Show all opens the rest. The headphone model is in the listing title.

What is on the listing before I order?

The headphone model, material, price, stock, fit notes, shipping, and warranty.

What if I only know the model number?

Email the model number to [email protected]. We point you at the listing instead of asking you to guess from a photo.

What if my headphone model is not listed?

Search for your exact model first. A similar headphone can use a different mount, so a lookalike set may not fit. If it is not in the catalog, email [email protected] with the model number, a photo of the label, and a photo of the cup where the pad attaches. We reply within 1–3 business days.

Are your replacement pads compatible with all versions of this headphone?

Not always. Headphones that look alike can use different mounts from one revision to the next. The listing description says which version the set is cut for. Some listings also include a fit and install video.

What are the cushions made of?

Protein leather, velour, or memory foam. The listing says which material that set uses.

How do I clean and care for replacement ear pads?

Wipe protein leather with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Skip alcohol, solvents, and soaking. Brush velour or use a lint roller. Let either material air dry. Do not machine wash the pads.

Are these original manufacturer pads?

No. These are replacement cushions cut for the cups you already wear, not the headphone maker’s own part.

Can I pick an order up in New York?

Yes. Cash pickup is available at 123 W 45th St, New York, NY 10036, Mon–Fri 9:00–18:00 ET.

How do I place an order?

Add the pads to the cart and send the request. We confirm stock, shipping, and the total by email within 1–3 business days. The form itself does not charge a card.

Cart

Can I cancel or change my order after submitting it?

Yes. Email [email protected] with the change: a different model, a different address, or a cancellation. We reply within 1–3 business days.

Contact

What happens if an item is out of stock?

If a pad is out of stock when we confirm the request, we email you and find a solution. We do not ship a different model in its place without asking.

Who pays for return shipping?

You pay return shipping, except on a manufacturing defect: we cover that label. Cosmetic wear after use is not covered.

What is the difference between protein leather and velour ear pads?

Protein leather wipes clean. Velour is the softer studio surface. Both are cut for a specific cup, and the listing says which material that set uses.

How do I replace headphone ear pads?

Most sets stretch onto the cup ring or clip in place. The listing says whether you are buying a pad, a cushion, or a tip. If the mount is not obvious, email the headphone model.

Contact

Will replacement ear pads fix a loose noise-cancelling seal?

Worn pads lose their shape, and a new set can bring that seal back. Whether noise cancelling changes depends on the model and the cup. A new set does not repair the microphone, and it is not a promise of stronger noise cancelling.

Are AKG, Audio-Technica, or Marshall pads listed separately?

Yes. Each brand has its own section. Match the model in the listing title. We do not sell one universal set for every headphone.
