For model identification, compare your part and listing details with the variant-2 blue zip sleeve and the XB950 crown reference. The listing also uses the terms second-cut blue head-strap, aftermarket zip cover, and XB950AP alternate blue pad. These references help distinguish the blue variant 2 from the not first-cut and the not red zip options named in the product information.

Before ordering, confirm-photo zip length against your existing band. The fit should match if the zip length equals your band. This is especially useful when checking the extra-bass arch refresh v2 or the DIY slide-on metal band reference. For installation, unzip the worn sleeve and slide it off the metal arch, then reverse those steps for the new headband.
